Judy Pfaff’s journey to starting Sign Gypsies – San Jose began with a heartfelt moment deep in the heart of Texas…

Visiting her daughter’s in-laws in Austin, Judy saw a colorful yard sign standing proudly in her daughter’s mother-in-law’s yard. The sign was a celebration of a monumental victory—she had just defeated cancer! The bold letters, vibrant colors, and joyful message turned the yard into a beacon of hope and triumph.

The sign wasn’t just a decoration; it was a moment of recognition. A friend had ordered it as a surprise, a way to celebrate this life-changing milestone. Judy watched as neighbors stopped to admire the display, sharing smiles and words of encouragement. It was more than a sign; it was a community coming together in shared joy!

Inspired by the magic of that moment, Judy couldn’t stop thinking about the impact such a simple yet powerful gesture could have. She thought about San Jose, her hometown, and how many people there could benefit from the same kind of joy and celebration. Whether it was a birthday, a graduation, an anniversary, or a milestone like the one she’d just witnessed, Judy saw an opportunity to bring people closer together through celebratory yard signs.

“What if I could bring that same joy to my community?” she thought.

And so, the idea for Sign Gypsies – San Jose was born. Judy reached out to the company, learned everything she could, and began her journey to start her own branch of Sign Gypsies. From her very first sign installation, Judy’s mission was clear: to spread joy, celebrate life’s milestones, and create moments that bring people together!
